Refund policy
Last updated 4 November 2026
No lock-in contracts, no cancellation fees and no hoops. Here is exactly what happens when you cancel, switch plans or need money back.
01The short version
Memberships are monthly. Cancel any time, with no fee and no notice period — your access simply continues until the end of the month you have already paid for, then stops and you are not charged again.
Beyond that, we try to be fair: if you have barely used a plan you have just bought, or a session did not happen because of something on our side, email info@marlonjames-edwards.com and we will sort it out.
02Your 14-day cooling-off right, and the digital content waiver
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to change your mind about an online purchase. Because a membership gives you immediate access to digital content, we ask you to agree that your access starts straight away, which means the cooling-off period ends as soon as you agree.
That is the legal position, but it is not how we operate. If you write to us within 14 days of your first payment and you have not used more than a small amount of the service, we will refund that first payment in full.
03Cancelling a subscription
- Open the plan page and choose Manage or cancel — you will be taken to your secure subscription account with our payment provider.
- Nothing further is charged once you cancel.
- Your access continues to the end of the billing period you have already paid for, so you always get what you paid for.
- You can rejoin later at the current price; your Community posts and progress stay with your account.
04One-to-one sessions that do not go ahead
- If we cancel or miss a session, you get it rescheduled or credited — your choice.
- If you need to move a session, give us at least 24 hours' notice and we will simply rebook it; late changes are treated with understanding, because parenting with additional needs is unpredictable.
- Sessions that were taught and attended are not refundable.
05Switching plans
- Moving up takes effect immediately, and you are charged a part-month amount for the difference. No refund is due on the plan you left.
- Moving down takes effect on your next billing date, so you keep what you paid for until then.
- If you move up by mistake, tell us within 48 hours and we will reverse it.
06How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original card through our payment provider, normally within 14 days of the day we agree it, and always within 30 days. We will confirm by email when the money has left us.
07If we stop providing the service
If we ever stop offering Mr Edwards, or cancel your membership for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of the month you have paid for.
08Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including the right to services provided with reasonable care and skill, and digital content that is fit for purpose. If something we supply is faulty, tell us and we will repair, replace or refund it.
09How to ask
Email info@marlonjames-edwards.com with your account email address, the month you are asking about and a sentence on why. We aim to reply within two working days and to keep the whole thing as painless as possible.
Mr Edwards is provided by Marlon James Edwards Ltd (company number 13625421), whose registered office is The Halley, Reliance Wharf, Hertford Road, London N1 5ET.
